Beautiful looking bedspread but quality & durability let it down, January 13, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Cody Direct Rings of Flower Queen Bedspread, Ivory (Kitchen) Bedspread looks stunning on my queen size bed and fits the bed perfectly with tassels sitting near the floor on all sides with ample "tuck in" for the pillows at the top. I washed the bedspread before use and with the help of half a cup of baking soda in the final rinse; the bedspread came out wonderfully soft & fluffy. I found the normal amount of excess "lint" coming off the bedspread after washing which I have experienced before with chenille bedspreads.
I have amended my rating of this bedspread to four stars because of the overall quality of the bedspread which over the last week or so has become more obvious with normal daily wear & tear of everyday use. At first I did give it 5 stars however, I have amended my rating because of this and my reservations on the quality of the backing fabric as it is quite thin and not of a durable long lasting quality. I would machine wash on "delicates cycle" only when absolutely necessary because of this.
