I have a deep pocket CA king, wanted a quilt, but had a very difficult time finding one I liked, price was good, and was large enough for the bed. Kept coming back to this. I ordered the King in sage and it is BIG. It is big on my CA king. The back / underside is a very soft/silky material, just a shade darker than the front/shams. The front side is soft cotton, a bit lighter / pale sage. So, turning down the comforter to expose the underside over the front is a nice contrast. The comforter is a nice weight. We live in FL and like a light cover for AC and I think this will be just perfect. Due to the ample size, I tried turning the comforter to see which way hung best, and equally around the bed. I am just surprised at the size. A queen may have even worked on the bed, not falling so far down. But this is fine. Won't have to worry about not having enough all around and pulling off and not covering one or the other of us. And if... Read more

I know. Gross. But you gotta understand, she is THE BEST guard dog ever so I let her sleep on my bed.
I needed a bedspread that was sturdy and could be washed. A lot.

It's the cheapest I've seen in this style. It's cotton! AND it is lovely in brown. Quite elegant actually.
The best part is that my dog isn't ruining my nicer quilts, comforters or bedspreads. In fact, she isn't ruining this one either. It's well made and sturdy.
