Melinda 100-Percent Cotton Queen Bedspread, Sage (Kitchen) The spread would not cover my Queen size bed. It was several inches short on the the sides and the lenght was also a few inches short. I have standard size mattresses and a plain small steel bed frame so those factors are not the reasons for the poor fit. The price was too good to be true. It is 100% cotton and it would have certainly shrunk some and been worse. I returned it. I thought about ordering a King size for my queen size bed but do not want have to package it up and return it again.

Melinda 100-Percent Cotton Twin Bedspread, Ivory (Kitchen) This spread fits right, is heavy and looks good. The issue is it will not stop shedding. I've washed it a dozen times since September and it still sheds little chunks over my red rug, the blanket and the comforter. This morning while making the bed, I shook the spread a little and a cloud of fine dust particles shook loose. I took it outside and shook it some more and got more clouds of fine white dust particles. That explains my itchy eyes for the past week. It's back in the washer and I will keep washing it until it stops shedding or there is nothing left to it. Complete waste of money.

I have a over sized queen bed and order the king size so it would go to the floor and I had room to tuck the pillows in at the top. I have been looking for over two years for a bedspread that would fit just right and after several unsatisfactory buys this one is perfect.It is 100% cotton. It looks nice, feels nice and washed up very well. I am very happy with my order and compared to others I have bought the price was good. I am thinking about ordering another so I have a spare one for my bed.
